Speak Up

Programme

We believe that there are many talented women speakers out there who are yet to be discovered. We offer coaching to those who need some guidance so that they have the confidence to rock the podium

We know that there’s a wealth of undiscovered speaking talent who are looking for some guidance as to how they should hone and market their message. QualityLife Company is known for showcasing some of the best speakers in the country at our various events and as a result we’re also constantly scouting for new talent. However, we understand that new talent needs nurturing and that the advice of a coach can be invaluable in identifying your unique voice and message.

“All in all, it was a life-changing morning.” Hamilton Wende, author and journalist.

“I have always dreamed of being a speaker one day. Some people believed I had talent but I doubted my ideas as well as my ability. The “coaching for speakers” workshop did more than give me confidence, I realised that my life purpose is to be a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves.” Sikhululiwe Mathonsi, ex-Standard Bank.

We will be guided by the particular needs of the group itself but chances are good that we will cover the following during our time together:

  • Discuss your presentation in groups and refine its unique message, Find your own authentic voice: pitch, pace, pause, tone and power, Structure a presentation and phrase your ideas effectively so that you hook your audience immediately and keep them hooked throughout, Overcome any nerves and realise your power as a presenter, How to market yourself and your message, Hone your presentation with guidance and support, which will be filmed and reviewed to identify ways to improve.

The true value of this training is that the results are obvious immediately; the change in confidence and assertiveness with which you will be capable of communicating your views and perspectives will be dramatic.

Coaching

The one to one coaching is basically the course but delivered privately over two two-hour sessions where we focus on you and how to make your presentations great. We can also focus on a specific presentation that you are currently working on. In terms of the content, the first lesson will be diagnostic and explaining where areas need improvement then a weeks break. The second session will be putting into practice what we have discovered.
